Pop singer Robert Palmer has died in Paris from a heart attack at the age of 54. He had just completed a couple of days promo in Holland for his new album Drive and a TV recording session in Britain.
With a cultivated Bryan Ferry-style edge to his image, Palmer will perhaps be best remembered to the wider public for the video to his 1986 hit Addicted To Love, which featured a band of supermodels and was directed by the late photographer Terence Donovan.
